Please join us for worship, fellowship, and Christian Education this Sunday, April 6, as we observe The Fifth Sunday in Lent. We’ll have a service of Holy Communion at 8am, followed by fellowship at 9, Sunday School at 9:15, and a second Service of Holy Communion at 10:30, in the sanctuary and online. Pam Kalapay will be joining us at the 10:30am Service, we’ll be singing some Lenten favorites and a new hymn!
Our God makes all things new. In the first reading God promises it. In the gospel Mary anticipates it, anointing Jesus’ feet with costly perfume in preparation for the day of his burial. In the second reading Paul recalls his transformation from the persecutor Saul into an apostle. In baptism, God’s new person (you!) rises daily from the deadly mire of trespasses and sins.

Young at Heart Easter Party, this Tuesday, April 8: Join us at noon for a lovely afternoon of fellowship, lunch, and games, as the group gathers for its April event. Lunch will be provided (donations will be gratefully received).
Join us for soup and bread in a communal meal each week at 6pm. Here we will share the bounty that God provides us with one another in much the way that Jesus and his disciples did in their daily lives. We will support one another in our Christian faith and Lenten practice with fellowship and community. This will be immediately followed by Midweek Lenten worship service. This year we will be looking at Christ Condemned: the Prosecution of Jesus.
